I have just realized I have seen Editors live and remember absolutely nothing about them.
Apart from seeing them obviously.
I just remembered that they are called Editors and not The Editors, wondered why I knew that and then found out that they were support for REM about 15 (jesus!) years ago.How did you remember you had seen them?
That fifteen years blasted by the the final can at the end of the night. I remember the day, t'was sunny. Stipe had that blue spray on line across his kite.2008
hi.I just remembered that they are called Editors and not The Editors, wondered why I knew that and then found out that they were support for REM about 15 (jesus!) years ago.
I watched them in Kildare that year, headlined a festival but don’t believe Editors were there. That fifteen years blasted by the the final can at the end of the night. I remember the day, t'was sunny. Stipe had that blue spray on line across his kite.
Yeah I remember it being pride weekend and Manchester was absolutely rammed. Boss gig. First time I ever heard them play "Let Me In" live too. That fifteen years blasted by the the final can at the end of the night. I remember the day, t'was sunny. Stipe had that blue spray on line across his kite.
Joni Mitchell is up there too if you want a pure voice. Her and Dolly Parton are the purest voices I can recall. Both can quite easily make me cry. The destruction of "I will always love you" by Whitney Housten (sic) is a musical crime.
I agree mate you forget how many hits he had, he knows how to pick backing singers too....Cat Stevens excellent , his voice still up there
