But thats just guesswork at this point, hes played the majority of his career so far as a Wide Forward, for me anyway, happy to change it when it becomes clear that hes shifted.

I have been big on the shift Mina front. But, with Tarkowski coming in now, if we shifted Keane, I'd be keen on giving Mina one more go.
I am sure the medical team will be refreshed now that Thilwell is here. He is easily our best player when fit, and I'd be gutted if he went elsewhere and got his body right.
He is also clearly a very popular figure and good in the dressing room.
Coming out of contract he would want to use this season to perform to give himself one more chance to get to a CL club, so it could be a win-win.

But im 50/50 on the injuries...if Keane + Mina can bring in say £20mil and £100k in wages AFTER Tarkowski...
...then use that towards Colwill. He'll be a super player.

Yes but Some players at a certain point in their careers suffer with being injury prone. It is unlikely he will ever play anything like a full season again. (Possibly could in a warmer climate) - we need to learn, as good as he is, it was part of our problem last season that he was unavailable for most of it.
If we can get a fee for him it would make sense to offload.
We can get great characters that are also available each week!!
