LIV will either die a death in a few years,.or a big legal challenge will come and force the other tours to let players play where they like.
Reckon restraint if trade will be used. Or else you get into the realm of saying players are employed, and they need their employment rights
I can't honestly see the PGA having a leg to stand on, when it goes to court. Players can. Play Europe or USA, they can play majors which are not tour owned. They can play invitation events, etc. Why not the LIV tour?

You could be right.
It might go like the cricket did, rebel tours, bans, redemption etc. Then they'll all get together in some form or proportion and quite soon nobody will remember...or conveniently forget and all you'll have is ('The New) Golf (Normal') ...like the new post Covid normal.

Solid round by McIlroy.

He'll be disappointed with the dropped shot at his last hole but game seems in good shape.

Genuinely best I’ve seen him in years. Biggest thing is his consistency now. He’s always been able to pop a round off but for years has struggled week in week out doing well every round.

Hope he gets another major soon.

Looking primed for a good weekend. #7 on top, #1, 2 and 3 within 2 shots, #9 another shot back. Plenty of randoms to mix it up because this is the US Open and half the field comes from qualifiers. Great test of golf, as Rahm pointed out after he finished. Can't ask for much more.

This has been a good Open I reckon. Course is tough but fair and you can score if you hit quality shots. Still need to hit some of these spectators with a cattle prod, but otherwise a fine tournament.

Had £5 on Fitzpatrick at the start of the tournament @ 28’s.

Feel like because he’s not one of the “mega” stars of golf he isn’t getting the coverage, but there haven’t been many players in golf in recent months.

Hope he wins, been a while since and English player won a major, think it was Willett?
