Feels like it could his turn this week. Top, top player with some close calls in the majors
He's our big hope now with Jason Day and Adam Scott into the twilight of their careers, he seems to not be easily flustered under pressure but the stakes are highest now for him. Some top players lurking within a few shots.

He's smashing it today, i like Lowry but hoping Cameron Smith goes low today.
Way too good not to bag one eventually. Reliably plays well at Augusta, and the overlap set between Masters winners and Open champions at St. Andrews is huge. The two courses stress many of the same skills.

Not a good start there. It will be interesting to see how quickly he can right the ship.

Scheffler's favourite at this point for me.

Tried to put a few quid on Hovland yesterday at 28-1 and I was about 3 seconds late as it didn't go through and he was 12-1 as he bloody eagled lol

Ended up putting a couple of quid each way on Fitzpatrick but he's not had the greatest of starts.

I felt if the conditions stuck we’d get some low scores today… what I didn’t expect when I checked this morning was Kisner having that round, followed by Fleetwood.

Cantlay going about his business quietly is my one to keep an eye on here. But in reality one of 11-12 have a chance here, best Major for a while this!

I've low-key felt he's the guy all along. Statistically, he is the worst short game player on tour by a significant margin this year. This means that he is the biggest relative winner from the huge greens. He's a good wind player because he can shape it, which translates into a lot of GIR and makeable putts around here. He's a very good putter when he's on, and he has been on.

The knock on him is that he hasn't been there come Sunday afternoon, though he does have a U.S. Amateur in the trophy case.

The Road Hole is so gloriously stupid. Television just doesn't do it justice. Left of the fairway is so, so dead - as we just saw. The green looks 10x larger on television than it actually is, and the bunker is just a pit.

The blind tee shot is even more ridiculous visually from where they have us mortals play it, so that we don't smash hotel windows.

You haven't even mentioned that there is a road and stonewall behind the green that isn't just in play but not that far away from where you're actually supposed to be playing the ball to.

I love it so much.
