He's some talent - we played together in the same school team and caddied together at RLGC in the summer months during our teens.
I remember being pleased with myself after shooting +1 gross around Royal Liverpool, and then he walks into the clubhouse fuming, having levelled course record (65 gross) after three-putting the last.

Having played plenty of Open courses I honestly thought Rory's par at last was a fair result considering his lie up against the wall of the bunker was close to unplayable.

After what I saw the other day, the rough at the back of the eighteenth is far more of an issue than the risk of the bunkers. A caddy said the same with the 10th.
