1st one - Toss Up (although Spieth was all over the shop last 5 or 6 holes)
2nd interesting pairings but thats US's #1's so give it them
3rd Tough, Lowry and Strka was an inspired pairing today, H and H are 2 solid players, maybe Europe
4th Cantley and Schauffele owe their captain something, Rahm is just unplayable - tie

2 - 2

It's far from over, but we need a very strong performance tomorrow to put us in a position to lift the cup on Sunday. Zach has trotted out an interesting lineup that can get us back into it in the morning, but can also more or less end this as a contest. He'll need the two returning lineups to step it up several notches.

Donald, of course, did nothing more than reverse the slots on the McIlroy and Rahm pairings, correctly reasoning that Spieth and Thomas would go out first and putting his best side yesterday morning against ours.
USA ridiculously had no one play competitive golf 1 month before the Ryder Cup.
Spieth and Thomas are fine players but splay the ball around so much that it will make foursomes very interesting

I would take a split in the morning. That puts it all on best ball and spins the wheel, but I think we have a much better shot at a big score in that format.

Best case for us in the morning is probably winning the middle two matches, and halving the first and the last. I don't think Spieth and Thomas are playing well enough to beat Fleetwood Mac, and I can't see Rahm/Hatton walking away with less than a halve given Rahm's form. The Europeans could just as easily take us out behind the woodshed again, and put us out of our misery.

Anything less than 3 wins in the morning session and I think it’s game over. I’m basically already conceding Rahm and Hatton so it’s all on the first 3 to get it done. The last two matches today being halved the way they were was a killer. 7.5-4.5 after the morning and there’s hope.

Rory and Tommy off to a fine start this morning, as are Hovland and Alberg
Thankfully, Rory just yoinked the putt to halve after Fleetwood's chip nearly put us four down.

Scottie and Brooks have been awful. Hovland and Aberg bogeyed three and won their third straight hole to start the round.

Woke up this this morning, saw the latest Foursome scores and thought I must still be asleep dreaming!
Hovland/Aberg 7 up on Scheffler/ Koepka - unbelievable!
