Good European cities w/ clubs to go watch

How do you get tickets for St Pauli? we struggled before would like to return

Through the fanladen but because been going that long. You become on friendly terms with lads over there and they sort me out for home and away. It helps that my best mate lives in Hamburg too but if you want to try get tickets yourself, message the St. Pauli fanladen. It used to be really easy to get tickets but more and more foreigners go and watch them now which makes it harder. Also, don’t book a trip to go watch them at home til about 3 weeks before a game. They can change the fixtures to suit local television deals. Going the local bars/pubs near the milerntor is a good way to get tickets too, always someone out there reselling tickets for face value.

Valencia is great and so is madrid.

Istanbul is great and there are a plethora of teams to go and watch. Besiktas and Galatasaray are on the European side and Fenerbache on the Asian side. A good tip though is as those grounds are usually full and maybe more difficult to get tickets, go and watch Kasimpasa who play very close to the central part of Istanbul on the European side, just down from Taksim Square and over the road from the British Consulate General. They have very few fans and tickets are cheap.

100% agree with Istanbul.

It also has what is possibly the world's only football ground that is built inside of a Roman cistern (the Vefa Stadium, in the Fatih district). Sadly the club (Karagumruk) don't use it for their main games anymore.

Go to Belgrade and try to catch a local game, like for example Partizan vs Red Star.

I hear things get a bit spicy, mind.
Went to Red Star's stadium in 2015. Didn't see a game but went into their museum. There was a really nice bloke working there who gave me a free guided tour of the museum, I think because I was foreign and he was just generally a bit bored. Only cost me about a quid for entrance into the museum.

Ha, ace!

Back when I used to play basketball we had to be in Sofia for a few days and play at the National stadium and the CSKA base/stadium. Seeing as they're close and there were no other sports/events happening, the staff were more than happy to show us (I mean both us at 10-12 years of age and the staff/coaches with us) around the place at both sites during the downtime, even let us go on the stadium as long as we didn't destroy the grass lol Was fun.

Fairly sure stadium tours aren't as big of a thing around our parts to be honest, sadly. No idea if it's like that for Red Star obviously but still.

Haha yeah I guess it was a bit like that in Belgrade. The guy let me into the executive/director's box too as the museum backed onto that. Didn't make it onto the pitch though lol

Should've asked mate lol

Dunno from the ones I've visited around here that I wasn't about to play at or anything it's always been like "yeah sure just go there" kind of deal, not really a tour per se.
