Good Luck Tony Bellew!

Did you watch the fight lad?, nothing was going to plan for Uysk, he was down with the judges, that aint the way he planned it is it.

He sussed Bellew out the last few rounds before the KO and changed tactics, just kept on his front foot pushing Bellew back onto the ropes, and jabbing away, Bellew had no answer apart from trying to throw a few bombs.

He looked average at best right up until bellew ran out of gas, I expected much more from Usyk, if he wants to step up and take on younger heavyweights it looks like it will be far from as easy as we have been led to believe.
He wasn’t average at all. He felt his way into the fight first few rounds before stepping up and destroying his opponent

Never been a massive fan because of how utterly classless he is and embarrassment he brings upon the city.

However I do wish him a happy retirement, take the money and live healthy with your missus and kids. Achieved a heck of a lot.
Is right mate, at least we still have Jimmy Tarbuck,John Bishop and John Aldridge to make us feel proud masters of wit and integrity.

Can he finish with a defeat? A couple of days and he'll be hearing the Rocky music in his mind again especially if it comes with a good pay packet. Everyone wants a happy ending... :)

After seeing how that finished though let's hope he stays true to his word. Once fighters have had a vicious KO like that, It often happens that a jaw that seemed impervious beforehand can't handle half of what it used to.

Brilliant fight that.

At the end of the night the better fighter won. Tony like some have already mentioned was brilliant tonight and the showboating was trying to wind Usky up to draw him in, i felt sometimes he was doing abit too much of it especially with the switch hitting, and crossing his feet which was leaving him exposed. I seen coldwell give him a couple of roasting in the corner.

The shot at the end of the 6th was the game changer, Bellew wasnt the same after that it took alot out of him.

Massive, massive respect to a proper blue.

You lived the dream lad and risked more than imaginable. The club should be as proud as you, as you are of the club.

And what an entrance!

Enjoy the retirement, youve earnt every penny.

It's like a boxers never waited to get his opponent into the later rounds then let his fitness take care of the rest.
Yeah they do but people were banging on how good he was before the right and I expected more than him yo just wait for his fitness to go. Thought he was better than that from the hype. If Bellew had not gassed out I honestly think Bellew could have won it.

If you come up against a fighter who is renowned to be a big puncher the last thing you do is go toe to toe, especially if you're a skilled boxer, you just use those boxing skills.
This is true but for me until round 6 he was getting out boxed by the big punched who a lot of people would call bang average at cruiser weight. So he wasn't really showing these boxing skills. He looked clueless to what to do with Bellew till round 6 when Bellew tired and it showed with the cards. He would not have a chance against AJ, Fury or Wilder.

I am with you mate bit baffled by this he was amazing last night and how brilliant he is. Yes he is a decent boxer but looking at that fight tells me he is good but that's about it. If he was amazing then he shouldn't have been seriously struggling against Bellew till he became tired. Bellew was completely out boxing him and he wasn't sure what to do. How is that amazing boxing because he was lucky the other was gassed. He is athletic and strong but I didn't see much else for the main heavyweight boys to worry about. For someone who has just unified the belts I expected a lot more from the hype. Seems that weight just may not be that great.
