Dont you mean we ARE selling the naming rights?

Everyone is worried that its gonna be a tesco funded name, but with the controversy surrouding the whole move, do you honestly see the club calling it the Tesco stadium?

Well isnt there maybe an alternative to selling the stadium name to corporate rights? Could we as fans raise the money somehow, or accept donations from wealthy Evertonians? And then maybe come up with a non-corporate name.

Well I was more interested in something like Dakota by Sterephonics. My first England game with the wife at Old Trafford, we were excited then as we walked up the steps to see the squad training Dakota was playing and it just got me inspired.

But lets be fair its just not the music that is stagnant at Goodison.

We have spoken with Tesco and obviously we respect very much their contribution in that we are working towards a great development project in Kirkby. They have already had a discussion with us and, no, it won't be Tesco naming rights.

Hold on, what a bloody cheek, to say Z-cars was Newtown based on Kirkby, yes it was but it was representative of Liverpool as a whole. In fact Seaforth was often mentioned and the actors did try to speak with a scouse accent.

As for Kirkby, it was an overspill town to house Liverpudlians and in fact although they were council houses they were damned good in terms of space and facilities and we all had scouse accents. I am sick to death of people looking at Kirkby and criticising. Our roots were still the Pool.
