We're not special. We're just a badly run football club who've made no progress for 20 years. Leave that sentimental unique snowflake rubbish to that lot across the park.
Who is to say whether he had an agenda? Presumably those who think he's under orders to quell the groundswell of discontent. Yet it seems a bit unlikely that The Times would be the source of such a driven purpose.
There isn't always an angle to a journos output and, the point he made about John Stones can hardly be disputed - and that seems to go against the official line coming out of the club. We aren't short of interest in the lad and Chavski aren't going away on the back of any nonsense written by the Fourth Estate.
I agree the timing is convenient and I am sure Big Bill has boxed him off with a shed load of West End theatre tickets for the privilege. However, I don't believe this is an either or debate. we keep thinsgs as they ae or we bring the wall down and raze it to the ground. I am an exponent of evolution rather then revolution. I have no affinity with bill or anyone else on our board to be honest but I don't want any Gang of nobody's taking over the club either. having Evertonians in prominent positions is important in my opinion.

I agree to an extent but I've also been to most grounds around over the last few years and I don't think it is all simply snowflake guff. A lot of grounds though fantastic just do not have that feeling that our dilapidated old stadium has. The atmosphere of some night games under the lights where generations of long gone blues have stood and cheered the blues on are simply not replicable. It's not a stadium of tellyclappers on a day out from Norway/down sarf/karachi, (tbh I hang around with a lot of genuine [Poor language removed] fans who hate the whole match day snowflake get guff they have become) and I'll be sorry when we unfortunately have to eventually move.
