This will all be great putting make up on a proverbial pig until the place falls apart one day. Already had the pipes give up not too long ago with a bit of cold.

What makes me laugh a little is that when oyu see the park end, the ground looks boss, looks modern and shiny and whatever, then get round to goodison road and you see the tatty ground with curtains up now.

They should use the industrial lifting equipment to shift the fencing

It's not included in the lifting plan.

It may come to pass that the cladding will still be there but everything inside has collapsed! Hopefully, we'll be in the new stadium by then.

Do you think they should have just left it as it was then mate? Personally I think it looks a lot better and will improve the image of the club.

think everyone knows the ground is old mate tbh, that is why we all love it, it is our home, obstructed views and wooden chairs included.

Yes I think it does. It looks better and image is vital to sponsors and investors. We all know whats underneath and we all love Goodison but to think it wont improve the clubs image is naive in my opinion.

It won't mate. Genuinely a bit of cladding and a curtain to cover it over will do nothing.

that is a bit like saying an investor/sponsor or whoever comes along and says 'ooo that cladding looks nice, i think i will sponsor this team'.

no chance mate, what will affect the view of the club is what the fellas in the board room say and what the fellas on the pitch do. That is it.
