Anyone else slightly miffed that the letters on top of the Park End are going to spell Goodison, and not Goodison Park?

Who even uses the word Park?

Because the Premier League is a different competition under a different governing body.

In 1992 we actively left the Football League along with 21 other clubs to join the Football Association's Premier League.

The Football League and the Football Association are two different organisations.

You seem to arguing against your own point. I think it would be generally accepted that old 1st Division/PL are the same thing other than being a bit hyped up by TV.

I can also understand were several versions of a trophy have been awarded you might opt for the most common or recent image.

However we have only won the 2nd Division ONCE in 1931 surely it would make sense to use the image of what we were awarded as opposed to an image of the trophy (without its lid) that was used between 1958-1983 ?

Anyway it's done now maybe they'll get it right at the new stadium
