Yep, can't believe people are moaning about this. We're obviously loaded now so can spend money on luxuries like this. God, the poverty years have really ingrained penny pinching on some people. Enjoy it, this'll probably cost less than a months wages for Lukaku.

Why are people even complaining about this?! Jesus christ.

We're at Goodison Park for another 3yrs MINIMUM in my opinion, so why cant we as a Club have an aesthetically pleasing Stadium to visit for that amount of time? Imagine rocking up to that Goodison at a night game, christ, it'll look glorious.

It improves the image of the Club IMO, Goodison looks like it belongs in the 1980s, modernising the exterior of Goodison makes it look like it belongs in the now, it changes perception.

The money being spent on this wouldn't buy you much of a player to be honest. It is all part of raising our profile - not just at home, but abroad too. No more small time for us, the future is bright (and seeing as we have gone Dutch - Orange too)

Edit: I reckon that the wages saved from the "released" list over the season probably more than pays for this anyway.

The old girl hasn't seen much love in recent years - the mural is probably the only real money spent on the place in recent times! lol

A facelift being given to all areas of the club. Boardroom, manager, coaching staff and now the stadium. What is there not to like about it? Looks quality, then again Moshiri won't settle for anything less. Can't wait to see plans for the stadium.
