GOT Addiction - How bad is it?

GOT/Safari is always my highest screen time activity. Always. If I got perma banned my FOMO would be so bad I’d probs have to go live on an Amish commune to get away.

OK, I joined GOT in 2014. It started as a bit of fun. Everton was doing alright at the time under Martinez. Yeah, there were complaints, sideways passes, Lukaku shins, Stones playing out too much from the back... but we also had a Diamond from Wavertree, the School of Science was back, and we even challenged for the top four for a time...

It was easy to get sucked in...but then things got darker. First, the spending increased and performances decreased. No longer getting the high I used to... the dark days got darker. The talk of top four turned to talk of avoiding oblivion.

And now I'm here, nearly 5000 posts in... over one a day for 11 years... checking it every day.... drawn into arguments with people that can't see how bad we are and that staying up is good result in circumstances. Defending a style of football I don't even like because needs must, and getting my kicks from attempted quips on a random threads.

And despite all this... 11 years of dedication.... I am only worth £35m - you get no respect with £35m....

How much of problem do I need to push the boundaries in to £100m zone, with all the big hitters.???

That reminds me. I was meant to remove post count so people didn't know how much time they invested/wasted on this miserable little corner of Everton internet.
 
….hard to underestimate how valuable Internet forums are to some people. Friendships with people you’d walk past in the street.

GOT is important to me but I also like my National Hunt horse racing and I’m on a forum for that which I tend to spend a lot of time on in between Sept-Apr so I’m a bit of a two-timer :cheers:

For perspective, I have you almost doubled up and IIRC it finally rolled over to 50m at 9000 posts. Best get those fingers to work if you want to cleanse the stench of Iwobi from your valuation.
