GOT Addiction - How bad is it?

My eldest was 26 a few days ago, im very much part-time these days on Grandad duties.

We have him every weekend but The Wife drags him all over the place, they are out currently at a Party over in Kirkby lad, then tomorrow she has a full day of fun planned and im not included, which is an utter result.

Not crapping on the wives but it's made difficult by their constant worry but that's what makes them special. After almost 50 years, my mom was more worried than me about my recent medical shiz. Kidney transplant? Tis but a scratch, I've known vets who've dealt with worse.

Women are just built different aint they.

My wife has just coped with her Dad being in hospital for 6 weeks, her future sister-in-law fighting cancer, worked 6 days a week, had my Grandson every weekend, dealt with my stupid arse and not once has she complained, just got on with it.

Our football club draws a game and we can barely keep it together.

It's worse. I've been drawn into a sub culture of bomb shelters, fridge fetishism, bad photoshops, a spiritualists marketing platform, posting pics of my beer to 🧑‍🌾 🚜 🚨, monitoring grifters, baiting multis and secret reds, regularly starting idiotic poll threads, tanking match previews, and posting pig gifs in a thread about our former unpopular manager.

That's when GOT has you in its grip. There's hope for you my friend. The rest of us? Not so much. It's over when you become a forum supporter. Who in their right mind pays money for the privilege??????

11 years and Im not even involved in the inside Jokes. Got no idea what these mean?

I bet if I'd had 11 years of Scientology I would broken into the hierarchy and know all the answers

Like harvesting alert. Gotta watch them like harvesters. @Joey66 is the biggest like farmer on GOT with his birthday threads.

See? You're not that far gone...

OK, I joined GOT in 2014. It started as a bit of fun. Everton was doing alright at the time under Martinez. Yeah, there were complaints, sideways passes, Lukaku shins, Stones playing out too much from the back... but we also had a Diamond from Wavertree, the School of Science was back, and we even challenged for the top four for a time...

It was easy to get sucked in...but then things got darker. First, the spending increased and performances decreased. No longer getting the high I used to... the dark days got darker. The talk of top four turned to talk of avoiding oblivion.

And now I'm here, nearly 5000 posts in... over one a day for 11 years... checking it every day.... drawn into arguments with people that can't see how bad we are and that staying up is good result in circumstances. Defending a style of football I don't even like because needs must, and getting my kicks from attempted quips on a random threads.

And despite all this... 11 years of dedication.... I am only worth £35m - you get no respect with £35m....
£35mmis litterally Iwobe…
How much of problem do I need to push the boundaries in to £100m zone, with all the big hitters.???

Do I need help????
Trouble is once your player value exceeds £60m Danny has to pay us posters the that make it so award winning. Obviously he can't pay everyone the amounts he pays us, so some of you need to be kept at reserve level.
