GOT football knowledge

I’m very nearly wrong about a footballer. Look at my sancho thread. Called it.

We see some bad shouts on here but we also see some great shouts.

Who do you trust as being knowledgeable in football? You got a favourite poster who you believe knows their stuff in players around the world? Who apart from @Goat should we egnore?

I’m personally a big fan of the following

You should. Preferably on the women's game. For comic irony purposes.

I quite enjoy watching women's football. Like I said, I used to coach it, long before it was the current rage. The game isn't as fast and frantic as the men's game so the game can flow better tactically with more thinking time. Back then there was no cheating/during etc either .... well it was creeping in because some clubs were becoming semi-pro and had pro coaches who see cheatungvas part of the game sadly.

It's often nice to watch for other ... err... evolutionary reasons. Apart from England that is.

It’s a funny old thing football knowledge. Everyone in here knows of Alex Young, Brian Labone or Ray Wilson because they’ve read about them, but the kids in here never saw them play so really don’t know. Even players like Peter Reid and Derek Mountfield are really unknown, in the sense of seeing them play, to many in here tbh….. I’ll grant you that todays kids know all about a myriad of foreign players but until they play in front of you then you don’t really know…..

Honest, I've given up on TV and pretty much all radio now. There's so little on TV and radio that interests me it's not worth looking for amidst the ocean of faeces that is broadcast. So no- haven't watched football focus for donkeys years.
