So rope break is a thing in no holds barred matches now? Other than that I very much enjoyed Dynamite this week.
Rusev was really a shocker! A fan favorite. great in ring. I also loved that wrestlemania tank entranceCan’t believe they released Rusev. These clowns don’t see a star when it’s right in front of them. Really excited to see what he does next. Also my old favorite Zack Ryder
In a way there has been many rumours over the months that he wanted out,so that maybe have helped the WWE-suppose we will never knowRusev was really a shocker! A fan favorite. great in ring. I also loved that wrestlemania tank entrance
No Holds Barred is a No DQ match, not a No Rules match which means rope break is a thing
If I understand the rules correctly, the rope break puts an end to the move so any submission as a result wouldn't count as a win. So if the opponent gets a rope break you need to move them away from the ropes and reapply the hold. The reason for this is that falls have to happen in the ring (unless a falls count anywhere type match) and a rope break takes you "out of the ring". You can't be disqualified for holding on, you just can't win.So if a wrestler doesn't break the hold when the opponent grabs the ropes, what happens then? DQ in a no DQ match?
