GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Worst WrestleMania ever...
Having both of the top title matches last under 30 minutes combined and consist of multiple finishers and kick outs....so lazy.

Wyatt Cena was cool , would have been better if they hadn't already had him job to Goldberg for no reason whatsoever...but other than that largely disappointing...glad I didn't pay for it haha
 
I watch wrestling for wrestling though to be honest. If I wanted to watch B-movies, I could do that elsewhere.

I appreciate they were limited in what they could do, but... that's why they should have postponed it.

Yeah, one of the worst 'manias ever overall.
 
Wyatt vs Cena was great. So, so weird but somehow it worked. I am biased towards Wyatt though. Loved the Vince puppet.

I thought they did a pretty good job considering the circumstances but it was very average I don't think I'll be watching again. TLC was the standout match for me followed by Owens v Rollins. Wyatt and Cena was the highlight of the whole thing
 

Don't really know what to say.

Haven't been following WWE much for the last few years, but that was just so bizaare that I can't wrap my head around it at all. That wasn't pro wrestling. That was an utter disaster.
 
2nd night was better...

Loved the Fire Fly Fun House... So weird, so original, it worked perfectly for me... Vince puppet saying "that's good s**t", and Wyatt singing "look can look, but you can't touch" cracked me up...

Enjoyed Flair and Ripley... Flair is always excellent in big events...

Was fine with Lesnar vs Drew... Just bizarrely similar booking to Goldberg vs Strowman...

I assume Orton vs Edge is still going...

Disappointed atleast 1 match didn't go outside the building, thought there was big possibilities there.

Have not actually ever watched these before,it was only the Benoit one that made me begin to view them,watched the 2 parts of that [in this thread] and just now The brawl for all and just seen from series one after you said it, Probably the most famous one "The Montreal Screwjob" on it below,and the Owen Hart one is May 19th

It's a great series. The Von Erich one is brilliant and heartbreaking
 
the dark side of the ring episodes are just incredible can't wait for the owen hart one.

the von erich one was sad but i was actually more emotional about the bruiser brody episode because of Tony Atlas and benoit one got to me as well.

new jack though what an absolute lunatic, couldn't believe the mass transit incident and him beating up that old man and stabbing that guy 9 times
 
Gotta say this weeks AEW show was quite bad.

Can't stand Nakazawa. Trash gimmick and lacklustre performer who's probably there only because he's friends with the elite. I also find Omega overrated, but still tolerable. I remember hearing talk about him being "best in the world", but I can't see it at all. He's not even top 10 in AEW. Wrestlers are supposed to have charisma and storytelling capabilities, which I don't feel he has.

Worst part of the show though is that ref. Aubrey just standing there with an empty look on her face watching closely as Cassidy (who's not in the match) does a suicide dive onto Omega. DQ? Nope, of course not. Then she both ignores a two man beatdown of Speirs and Brandy's involvement in the main event. I know pro wrestling is ridiculous, but please at least try to NOT make it an even bigger joke than it already is. I prefer it when it's actually somewhat believable (which is why I don't enjoy the Young Bucks matches for example). Aubrey also tries to take the spotlight away from the wrestlers far too often. Yeah, I get that she's female, great, but I don't watch rasslin because of the refs (unless it's the goat Charles Robinson obviously).

Also got a feeling I'll be tired of the Hardy gimmick relatively quickly, but I'll give it a chance.

Thankfully the show was somewhat saved by the commentary and Jake Roberts' promo.
