GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Ricky Starks is an absolute star and it was great seeing Dustin in the main event. He's quite possibly their best worker. FTR, Tully and Hangman are also stars. Omega has never lived up to his hype, however, I just find him mediocre.

The worst "worker" in the company however is the sound guy. AEW's audio is worse than any other wrestling shows I've ever seen. Every single segment starts with 10 seconds of echo before they can amend it, which is quite detrimental to the talent that's trying to cut promos. There's no excuse for that as far as I'm concerned. If it happens once in a while, then sure, but this is every single segment.

Oh and it's a damn shame I can't bear watching Janela and Kiss wrestle, because I like Jericho and Hager as a team.

Doesn't hurt nxt... It's a developmental brand mixed with indie wrestlers that would never draw money anyways...

It has worked....aew's ratings this week without competition shows that... 1 mill is probably where aew will peak, it will drop back abit when they both go head to head again...

What's the deal with omega?....i never watched the japanese/bullet club stuff, so have no idea why people thought he was a big deal....he's out there drinking chocolate milk ffs... He's literally not given one promo all year where I thought, oh yeah he could be a star in wwe....

Watched it this morning, lots of botches throughout... Terrible way to bring in Rusev, poor promo from him also...

I like the idea of them doing a Mega Powers type year long feud.. Will be hard for them now though to keep them apart for 6-7 months, especially with modern day booking...unless banks is taking time off to film something, I'd be pleasantly surprised if they gave this angle another 6 months to build...
 
Just watched last weeks Smackdown and it was very decent indeed. Felt refreshing watching a wrestling show filled with wrestlers that are serious about being wrestlers in actual wrestling storylines. I even enjoyed the Reigns segment. Perhaps all he needed to win me over was me watching clowns like the Bucks and Orange Cassidy for a couple of months. Even the comic relief (Otis) works when he's the exception, instead of in AEW where the serious wrestlers are the exception and the goofs are the norm.
 
Curious to know what the deal is with that Mickie/Asuka finish...mickie didn't look injured, but the match had started to look abit sloppy...

Hurt Business would be a class faction if they hadn't been booked so poorly individually for so many years....despite this, if there was a live audience right now, I reckon they'd still be over big...

If you're in Retribution, then sorry this ain't gonna be your big break...jeez they really are screwed already..

reports say she dislocated her shoulder but Bryan Alvarez said it was the ref,

thought raw was no bad, great match with Seth and Dom, wonder if a storyline willcome up with Dons sister ( can’t remember her name) and Murphy?

heel Keith lee could be good, think might be triple threat because he never lost?
