GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Yeah it was a little off, wasn't it. Especially after last week was so good.

Still a few good bits but felt weird last night

They're very on/off. I thought having a Kingston match with Mox in place of their original idea was silly, that's a feud they could build, though the match was decent. There was the odd good moment, but why am I seeing so much of Janela and Sonny when Scorpio Sky and that other lad are having knockout matches on a sidenote show?

Good question, though he was on All Out, Sky has become underused on Dynamite – which is a shame, because he's so very good

I don't like Private Party either. Was keen on them originally, but they're not ready and not credible imo. I have a particular beef with wrestlers who can't run the ropes properly and they are the worst for it. Little baby steps into the ropes waiting for the move. Bags of potential, but shouldn't be getting this level of exposure yet

It is amazing really...
I wonder if Hogan was mainly on the roids and not so much on the recreational drugs as well. He may well have been but I haven't read enough about it with regards to him specifically.

It is mad that he has managed to survive this long though given he must have been on a hell of a lot of hardcore painkillers over the years alongside decades of steroids abuse.

Guess it just hits people in different ways. Still no idea how Scott Steiner is still alive

The Retribution group is actually hilarious, they look like the foot clan without shredder and even their names fit that type of vibe!
Zero chance this works. I don't watch WWE every week anymore but have had an eye on this. Just shows how terrible the creative team are that they thought this was the way to go. The masks, the names, it's all got failure written all over it

It's a cartoon. It's not meant to appeal to wrestling fans - its simply meant to appeal to kids and sell merchandise as the 'baddies' the heroes can overcome.

WWE isn't for anyone over the age of around 12 and hasn't been for a long long time now.

What I would give to get the attitude era back.

Absolute boss back then literally was excited waiting for the shows to start.

Really enjoyed the Mox v Kingston match. Kingston is just so good and he's certainly got the best chops in the biz. I do however agree with Prevenger that they should've built it up more, as those two could surely tell a great story.

I also think they rush Cody back to quickly, but the show certainly needs his talent.

The only positive thing about Kiss and Janela being on every show, is that it helps me free up some of my free time to do other stuff when I skip their segments.
