Still my favourite promo video
This one for me:
Can't see us ever getting anything close to being as good as this (or Austin/Rock obviously) again.
I love the old Rumble ones, where Vince shouts every participant's name at the top of his lungs.Still my favourite promo video
Didn't like Dynamite this week. Too many tag matches and schmozzes. One of the only singles matches had Joey Janela, who I hate. They've had a good run the past few weeks tbf
Tony Shavonie has still got it. Work or not, the shades that he's is throwing in those "paid advertisements" on Impact did make me laugh.
Tony Shavonie: Its a pleasure to be here on AXS tv (even though I wasn't aware it existed until this morning and I'm not sure how to find it) where we'll presumably be followed by a town hall meeting.......
Tony Khan: Hay Tony you where at Impact for a while weren't you?
Tony Shavonie: Well I came to their tv tapings one time and then left the business for fifteen years!
Tony Shavonie: Earlier today I asked Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, two of the greatest impact wrestling stars of all time 'remember when Impact had fans and was called TNA?' and they said 'No, we don't........'
It might not be great atm, but it will become good again. It might be in 5, 10 or 20 years time, but someone will come along eventually who lives up to those names/times.
Best rap song since Eminem's second album.
Needs personalities with special natural charisma to come along...WWE or AEW cant create that....
The other key factor, which cant happen, is it would need wrestling companies to turn a blind eye to drug taking, and stop caring about the short term and long term health of their wrestlers...the Hogan era can never return, the reckless attitude era can never return....as an entertainment industry, that leaves it limited in the audience it can attract, and further limited in wrestlers that can reach a comparable level to Hogan, Austin, Rock, Taker etc.
