Dipped into it for Summerslam last night for the first time in months and meh, same old stuff, faces being knobs, heels being sympathetic etc. Such a mess.

It was a very mediocre and bland show for sure. AEW has all the momentum right now. If they can capitalize on the CM Punk hype and stop doing the same stupid crap over and over again, they might become real competition for WWE.

Brock looked in great shape. Although he did also look like a roided up Connor McGregor.

I think the Becky Lynch return was rushed due to Sasha Banks being out. I think if she had been there Becky would have come out after to set up the feud I think Becky vs Sasha and Charlotte vs Bianca Belair is what we will see going forward.

Most matches were average but Edge vs Seth was really good. Told a great story, Edge bringing back old moves and using Beth Phoenix’s move was cool.

Reigns vs Cena was pretty good but it was an older style of wrestling that people aren’t as into anymore.

I'm not sure they should be even mentioning it if at all possible. It's massive for AEW and big for wrestling, but they AEW simply isn't competition for the WWE at this point in time
