So please help me understand this..
CM Punk, a veteran of the locker room, tries to protect his younger colleagues by telling them not to do dumb stuff that might hurt them badly (making them use fake glass for spots instead of real glass, which might just sever your arteries. How dare he!). Said young wrestler (who has proven that he's a douche with a massive ego a long time ago) gets angry with Punk for trying to protect him. Young wrestler goes on to call Punk out to the camera on live tv (just like Hangman Page last year, who also went to business for him self, hurting the company A LOT in the process. Punk is the one getting punished however).
Punk tells the guy who called him out on tv off backstage (physical altercation is reported, but that can mean anything, and we all know the dirt sheets can't be trusted). And obviously the clowns who support the Elite by default automatically starts crying about Punk being a big bad meanie once again.
I just don't understand how so many people have been manipulated by the most obviously thin-skinned, obnoxious bunch of "wrestlers" in the business to turn on Punk, who as far as I can tell have done nothing but try to help Tony Khan make money. When it's the Elite side who are continuously throwing jabs at the guy on live tv, leaking stories to Meltzer and storming his lockerroom backstage looking for a confrontation, how is Punk the bad guy? It genuinely blows my mind.
