Punk is a massive arsehole with a deluded sense of his own importance. He thinks he's Stone Cold 2.0 and that he can carry himself like a legit superstar whom is huge deal worldwide. Garbage. He was a top guy in WWE when the industry was in a down period (2011-14) and audiences were leaving in droves to watch UFC, hence why Vince decided to create the network and give everyone access to the video library. Punk is an arrogant, past-his-best performer who can't simply keep his BS neurosis to himself. Tony Khan has finally done something right by making a decision and sticking with it, send his whinging arse home permanently.

The Elite are a gang of moronic children who will end up crippled and broke before they all hit 50. Either take the cheque and leave 'em too it or just walk away. For now though they're selling out stadiums and Khan should count the dollars. When they don't draw anymore then he'll fire them also, trust me.

AEW has gone full WWE anno 2012 now, confiscating fan signs and even threatening to throw out fans wearing official AEW licensed t-shirts. Embarrassing.

Yeah, I think Punk was totally right in everything he said about Omega, Bucks and Page.

All man children who have been incredibly lucky to have a billionaire mark throw all this money at them.

Punk and Rhodes now gone. Two actual superstars who could've took the company to the next level. I can't take AEW seriously as a company after all this.

I think Punk wanted out anyway and this just gives him time to rest up and go to WWE next year where he'll have one last great run.

AEW should also focus more on selling out venues in the U.S and getting over 900k viewers than selling out Wembley.
