I honestly thought over the years that this was a parody thread….. I’ve only just realised that grown ups do actually watch wrestling and take it seriously too…. I’m astounded that I was blind to this harsh reality.

I don't think anyone takes it seriously. It's like watching a soap opera or a pantomine. It's over the top (not a Royal Rumble reference), silly but fun entertainment.

Yeah it should be but unfortunately WWE insist on making it unbearably long when its one night because they apparently need EVERYONE on the card. So the two night thing is defo the lesser evil at this point.

Tony the snowman strikes again. It doesn't matter if this is totally legit or a work. Its a pathetic decsion by Khan regardless. Who is this even for? Why on earth would you spend more time talking about a guy who doesn't work for you and is with the other guys? Even if Punk comes of REALLY bad in this footage what difference will it make? Even if some casuals do watch for the first time they'll just go "oh wow, Punk is crazy! Guess I'd better watch RAW regularly now to see what else he does!". Awful decsion. If it really means that much to Tony then he should just stick it up on YouTube. Putting it on their show at worst means nothing and at best means that Punk will be able to boast about being a bigger draw then anyone on their roster once again.......

Just finished Wrestlemania Saturday.

Ripley vs Lynch was worth the ticket alone. Great match.

The six pack ladder match was so much fun, absolutely silly, with some great spots. The tornado DDT through the table being one in particular, and R Truth being R Truth. What a treasure that dude is.

The Mysterios' match was spectacular. Fun, stupid, wild.

The Usos' match took a while to get going, the crowd were a bit flat to begin with, but it got there in the end.


The women's tag was brilliant. Jade Cargill is going to be such a huge star.

Sami vs Gunther was absolutely thrilling and had the right result. Looking forward to Gunther being in the mix for the top prizes, he is a fantastic performer.

Bloodline vs Rhodes and Rollins had pretty much everything you'd want from it, and builds a nice underdog story for Cody for tonight.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
