I do have a front lawn and dress it twice a year to combat moss growth. I have reached an age when having my front lawn neat and tidy for all and sundry to see as they pass is a must. I've even started timing planting bulbs and other flowers so there is always a colourful border to highlight the garden.
The back garden needs a bit of work. It was left as work in progress while the kids were young so it was used as a football pitch, drenched with paddling pools and trampled during birthday parties. I'll get that up to scratch in the coming year or two now the kids have either flown the nest or are only interested in their bedrooms and TikTok.
