Right next spring ɓuy a moss killer & killer the moss first to kill the spores off the moss first before digĝing rzraking etc as all you will do is help to spread the moss spores you already have on your lawn -
Sounds like hou have poor drainage on your lawn so kill the moss dead first next spring first then apply Sand slits with a spade & apply horticultural sharp sand & grit in the wettest places on your lawn- your builders yard may have washed sand etc use loads ..

Rake level hou need only 3/4 of an inch tilth home & bargain is the cheapest for grass seed sow a good handful to a square metre in April next year & rake the grass seed in under the tilth
Then sprinkle the same over the top for the birds - water it all in - keep it moist 10 days you will have a new lawn the weather needs to be warm too 15c never sow seed if it's windy either
Your lawn heeds drainage hence the moss.....- but kill the moss first next spring aga homebargain or e bay is the best supply

Deffo a thread for @MikeH72 He loves a good grass.

Apparently urine, as it happens, contains a number of beneficial nutrients commonly found in commercial fertilizer. It has a fair amount of nitrogen, a little bit of phosphorus and potassium, which are all needed. I'm a massive grass. Snitched on 2 people here fairly recently. The first one was for a post suggesting Dele and his interview revelations were a PR stunt. The second one was because somebody tried to insult my intelligence, and used the word 'handicapped' in a derogatory manner.

Not sure if any action was taken, but couldn't give a flying one anyway. Just won't tolerate some things.

Weed and feed in spring, wait a few days and then rake the dead moss out (will go black). Wait and few weeks to apply weed and feed again and repeat until you’ve got most.

Then same again in autumn. Will sort it out. Feel such a bad green nerd typing this.
