Despite the fact that he can make BIG mistakes, I think most of us were pissed off when he left.
I worry that Celtic who are [Poor language removed] don't feel he's good enough for them, I saw a couple of games where he wasn't convincing but maybe he didn't settle up there.

What his detractors forget is that when he left we were chasing the title, we hardly won a game after that and scraped into Euro by the skin of our teeth.

He will not be as good as he was then, he will not be an automatic regular in the first team but he loves the club, knows most of the players, knows Moyes systems and is ideal as a squad member. As Mr Latch says "nice one Moyes"

At first I was really gutted we'd signed him, I think this closes our transfer activity or otherwise we wouldnt have brought him in.

Yeah its good to add number to the squad and yeah he brings experience for europe, but lets remember he only had 1 good season for us.

He excels when the team play around him and he is given that freedom of movement, I dont think he'll get that this time, so all in all, I dont think he'll be a very useful signing. Good for emergencies only in my opinion.

Moyes is quoted as having said that "he wanted to bring in two more midfielders before the deadline, this was just prior to TG being announced.
