For the younger fans when we had our standing end behind the goal - the chanting started 1 hour before kick off - wooden floors under the stands the noise was great - what an atmosphere in all the grounds in those days!
Everton Gladwys street's end packed for the 1988 Derby a glorious site! - That end really did suck the ball into the opponent's nets -seat -DOH!

I wish controlled standing could return for the younger fans in the nowadays of technology it could easily be achieved imo!
