radio 2 tonight 10pm , Paul Merton's Beatles . Alternative reality where they never split up . Should be worth a listen .
Saw that, also on Wednesday morning at 1.00 a.m. on R6 music, Seargent Pepper - a splendid time was guaranteed for all. Presented by Annie Nightingale with archive interviews.
Another one I'll record : Wednesday, R2 10.00 p.m. Seargent Pepper forever. Martin Freeman (no idea why) 'investigates' the recording techniques on the album, and also plays outtakes.

will try to catch them both, or on iplayer later. The latter one sounds intriguing.

Our Man In the Middle East - Jeremy Bowen.
Ten part series containing some old broadcasts from the world's trouble spot - Radio 4.
It's all on the iplayer of course. Very informative and straightforward.

Listened to the Lebanon one whilst driving home on Friday. Really good.
