Bloody nutter.

During a Volcanic eruption in Bali a Holy Man Sat down in front of an approaching Lava Flow with his followers and the flow parted and went around them, diverting itself and I think saving their village, in 60's I think.

Great Place btw, loved it, overall cheapest in SE Asia as well when you took everything into account, love to go back there with the kids.

Goodison Park's address, according to Kelly's Directory 1938, is 12-70 Goodison Road. Next door to St. Lukes church was listed as a pawnbroker........... a Mr. Dalglish!!!!!!

The entrance drive-in to the Park End car park area was once a road, called Goodison Avenue (it's still listed as, actually). I remember the houses, as will some others but if you follow the kerb stones, you'll see one of the original grids embossed with 1897, when the houses were built.

No chance.

I'd read it previously but on checking it said the 'Play for Today' version of the Film Scum.

In the infamous film SCUM, which part did David (Frank Gallagher) Threlfall play? I've just read in Four-four-two he played Archer but i'm certain Archer was played by someone else as i had the Video for ages and can see Archer's face clearly in my mind...

In the 1979 film "Scum", Archer was played by actor Mick Ford. David Threlfall played Archer in the TV series, which preceded the film in 1977.

I don't even remember the TV Series tbh ? a 3 parter on BBC apparently and available on youtube.
