Groucho's Fact Hunt

Dunno who she is

I feel like there has been a lot on Indian/Pakistani/Nepalese etc here for a long time, whilst the increase in Eastern Europeans is more recent. That's just my personal impression tho, not based on any hard facts or evidence!
Perhaps the 2nd/3rd generation Indian/Pakistani etc speak wholly English, hence a reduction in those languages being spoken?

Maybe Polish will head the same way in a few generation's time.

Salvador Alvarenga, 36yrs, holds the world record for being lost at sea - 438 days.

He set off on a two day fishing trip from the coast of Mexico with crew mate, Ezequiel Córdoba , 22yrs.

Following a storm in the Pacific Ocean, they lost the sails and motor, drifting further and furthe out to sea.

They survived by catching fish, turtles and sea birds, which they ate raw. However after Córdoba became violently ill, he refused to eat anymore raw meet and starved to death.

Alvarenga eventually washed up on a remote island in the Pacifc Ocean, 438 days after setting off.

He was later sued by his crew mates family for cannabalism!

Yeah certainly. I used to work with loads of 'sub continentals' and quite a lot of them sounded more 'lahdahn' than me! :o I'm sure the same will happen to all the EEs (well, already has started to an extent), assuming the government doesn't chuck them all out! :o
