Groucho's Fact Hunt

The shortfin mako is the fastest species of shark. Its speed has been recorded at 40 km/h (25 mph), with bursts of up to 74 km/h (46 mph) allowing it to jump to heights of approximately 9 m (30 ft)

So basically if one swims after you, you're in a spot of bother

Sticking with sharks for a moment, the hammerhead shark is generally not that dangerous to humans, with only 3 of the known 9 breeds to hammerhead ever be recorded attacking a human unprovoked

In the 1996 film "Flipper", starring Elijah Wood and Paul Hogan, the big monster that Flipper and his dolphin mates have to defeat is a giant hammerhead, who is said to have sunk ships all by himself. Of course knowing what we know about hammerheads, this would be highly unlikely in real life. The hammerhead, named "Scar" due to scars on it's body, actually roars at one point as well, which we know that sharks can't actually do

So basically the makers of the film are just another set of ones who vilify sharks unreasonably

Richard Whiteley late of countdown died from pneumonia, a 9 letter word containing every vowel, he would have been made up.
The vowels are generally ordered via alaphabet position ie a,e,i,o,u. However some people might order them differently eg e,u,o,i,a. If Dickie Whitely ordered them in the latter fashion , then not only did he die from pneumonia- a nine letter word containing all the vowels- but that same affliction possesses all the vowels in Dickie’s special order...
...what are the odds???
