Groucho's Fact Hunt


William Graham from Darlington,in 1854 got the title "Norway's first train driver/locomotive engineer". He had been working as a train driver in England for several years. in 1854 he moved over with his wife and seven kids. He contributed building the first official railway between Oslo and Eidsvoll and actually driving the locomotive.
He is buried in a cemetery in Oslo.

Yeah, but TBF Bessie Braddock was one of them and she held the seat for 25 years through 7 elections lol
Labour only fielded a candidate from 1929 ; from 1945 onwards solidly Labour, Bessie Braddock being one of the two MP's elected.
Mine is a fact.
