Groucho's Fact Hunt

Jelly babies were originally marketed by side-splitting Victorians as 'unclaimed babies'. They then had a relaunch with the only slightly less creepy moniker 'peace babies' in 1919. The jelly babies we all know and love came to fruition in 1953.

Apropos of Eric Carmen, I liked Beck's version of the Korgi's 1980 song 'Everybody's Got To learn Sometime'. It was the ending piece of music to the 2004 movie 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' (one of my top 3 favourite movies)

Apparently the recipe and flavours are the same as the original unclaimed babies.
