Their ground was the lowest in the football league (when they were in it).
They are at 2 feet above. Ashton gate listed at 29 feet above sea level.Bristol City's is at sea level, pretty much. They under that?
Water pressure must be immenseOn a submerged submarine, if you undog the hatch to get out of the sub, no amount of pushing on it will get the hatch open.
In general, crocodiles inhabit more brackish (mixed salt and fresh) water. Basically, where the Everglades meet the ocean. Alligators, on the other hand, live in more fresh water environments. So, a little more inland. However, there are places where alligators and crocodiles fight for the same living space. Crocodiles usually win those fights. But both live in the Everglades. The Everglades are pretty awesome actually. Not sure if anyone here has heard of them. It's home to some the craziest animals in the world.. including panthers.
Very.Water pressure must be immense
Ah fascinating yet I'd imagine somewhat scary if you were down there with things going wrong.Very.
In the event a submarine exceeded 'crush depth', you wouldn't die from drowning or anything like that. No, the pressure of the water would rapidly compress the air in the submarine, igniting it (a wonderful phenomenon known as 'compression ignition), so you would be incinerated in agonising pain a split seconds before the water pressure hits you and pancakes you.
To add to Dylan's post.Water pressure must be immense
And West Brom's is the highest !!
Hold on! The earth is round? I've heard it all now.The idea that people ever thought the earth was flat is a myth - no one educated has thought this for 2500 years. Erastothanes of cyrene mesured the circumference of the earth in 200 BC, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eratosthenes), without leaving Egypt (!), and was accurate to within 15%.
His error came from assumptions about the earth being a perfect sphere, and the distance between two cities in Egypt. His actual method was bang on.
