Time for Clarke to do one. Pathetic comments about the ref being from Argentina.

He's been so negative since we qualified. Never used the friendly games to try and develop a system for being in possession. Too many in the team were poor throughout the tournament and he did nothing to change it. Ralston for one barely played all season and it showed. McRorie was on the bench unused and had a good season playing week in week out in the same position.

The penalty shout is what he'll cling to but Armstrong bottled it. The guy can finish so why not try and score? Instead pull back and wait for contact, so cynical.

The tournament hasn't been great in general, hopefully the knockout phases get things going.

Yes, let himself down there, on the pitch with his negativity, off the pitch with his ignorant comments. I mean, what would a referee from that nondescript football backwater like Argentina know...

He is a very negative coach.

In fairness to him, we don't have a great squad of players, and we suffered from injuries.

As for the penalty, in my opinion, that would be given 9 times out of 10. I agree about his comments though, it was sheer petulance. Mentioning which country the ref was from was toe curling.

At the end of the day, we had to win one game against Hungary to probably qualify, and we didn't go for it. He can whine all he likes, but he can't blame that on referees. No matter where they come from.
