Whoever gets the the third place side out of group F is screwed. Is it not more unfair that Germany, France, and Portugal are in the same group than complaining about having to play one of them in the knockouts?

England will blow it no matter what, so it doesn’t really matter anyways.

That’s never been the case when it was 16 though, you could afford to lose a group game.
