Yeah maybe. But I think stronger sides than Austria would've seen that game and taken some encouragement anyway. Italy did well in the end though and have a deep squad to switch things up if plan A isn;t working.

My expectation is Italy will beat Belgium because they're far, far superior tactically and it looks like Belgium won't have the genius of KdB to rescue them which is what happened when they last played a superior tactical side in Denmark. Assuming they play Spain in the semis that'll be an absolute cracker of a match that either side obviously could win. I'm hoping we get that because it'll be great fun.
