Well done to England and the USA

Probably due to having been an Everton and England fan that can only really remember the 90’s onwards. It’s ruined any chance of me ever being optimistic
Fair enough, I’m generally the same. England’s performances at the last 2 tournaments + our two impressive wins so far this WC has me thinking differently about England.

Find it a bit weird that people are constantly slating Southgate for being too cautious when he's walked the group barely getting out of second gear and scored 9 in 3.

Will be nice to play a decent team that won't see playing England as their cup final for a change. And immediately get battered 3 nil obv

Ramsay, Bale and Allen can wander off into the wilderness for Wales now.

I guess getting to a Euro semi final is a pretty decent international highlight when you consider it's Wales, no disrespect meant at all. After all, England have only been able to go one step further and have won nothing just like Wales.

I just can't see it getting any better for the Welsh though because, especially Bale and Ramsay, two genuinely quality players, are way past it now, and there are absolute no decent replacements in sight and they have a terrible squad of players.

Might be another long, long wait until we see Wales at a World Cup again.

Can’t argue with that tbf.
I don’t think it’s a foul tbh, he hardly put any force on him, but I’ve seen ones just as soft given.

I remember Keane gave a pen away for jumping in the air to head a ball away and landing on the strikers toes.
That was in the first VAR season, against Brighton, with Keane watching the ball and the Brighton striker running into him.

But it's okay lads, ref apologised afterwards lol
