Yet Ronaldo breaks all the records...
Messi has a better goal to game ratio than Ronaldo, and of course doesn’t play as main striker like Ronaldo.

Numbers speak for themselves but your eyes can tell you too. I don’t get how people can watch both and prefer a Ronaldo type player.

I just don’t see Ronaldo as the best ever at all personally…goalscorer maybe, he’s definitely in that debate… but to me the best player ever has to have the skillset of a Messi or Maradona (or Cruyff)…as well as the ability to score, they can slalom through players to win a game and pick out a jewelled pass at will.
Messi has had literally dozens of ‘jump out of your seat in awe’ moments throughout his career. Can only think of a few occasions when Ronaldo had that effect. Hasn’t Ronaldo himself said that messi is the goat?

aye, Messi definitely has the most Ballon Dor‘s record too…and when they both played in La Liga Messi won its player of the year (and forward of the year) way more times. Ronaldo’s never been at the level Messi was around 10 years ago- unless jumping high and scoring headers is comparable with beating four men at will before scoring.

Messi: a world cup too far.

He looks lacking in any acceleration. That was what earned him his status and it's gone.

Still a threat, but he's a shadow of his former self.

That was a laboured performance by Argentina and I dont think they'll get anything off the Poles, tbh.

He carried his team to victory tonight. Goal and an assist

He’s already on 34 goals and assists for club and country this season.

24 matches and 34 goals and assists.

He is just a freak who doesn’t really make sense
