I've been pacing myself these last few days. I will dip in tonight, but the highlights are great for days/weeks like this. This phase of the competition - while entertaining - is mere choreography. The likes of Turkey, Albania, Georgia, Scotland, Slovakia, and England have no real say in the eventual destination of this title, so I'll hold myself back for the big boys.

I don't mind him too much. He's still early 30s. It's Mertesacker and the presenters in their oversized white trainers with no socks and sports jacket combos that get on my wick. Middle-aged men dressing like they're a good decade younger than they are. And for heaven's sake, wear some socks.
