This tournament only ends one way, with England beating Cameroon on pens in the final after 49 minutes of injury time.
I was thinking about how it would go later in the tourney if Sule was at RB against Mbappe or Neymar. We won't even have to get they're because they're done Saturday if he's there again.a 2-1 Japan win you say?!
I still back Germany if they stop playing Gigantor at right back, Hansi Flick u are a disgrace smh
Living here in Berlin, it's been clear to me that Germany has been in a complacent decline since 2014. Lessons were not learned in 2016, 2018, or at Euro 2020. Hence, today. There's a self regard about their largely impotent, inferior brand of tiki-taka, a legacy of the Guardiola Bayern era. Germany has no striker to speak of and has no defenders of note at all. It has a surfeit of tricksy midfielders who specialise in possession for the sake of possession. Look at Kimmich - a common denominator since 2016. Tidy on the ball, but rarely does anything truly penetrative with it and is lightweight in the tackle. And he's about the best of them.Germany these days are kind of slowly morphing into 00's England it seems, whilst England ironically have been Germany-like in tournaments by getting to latter stages even when not playing well
It's weird
Up is Down, Left is Right, dogs and cats are living together
I think they'll batter Spain if Flick isn't being weird againThey have spain next
I actually think they’re out.
I was impressed with Flick during his Bayern stint, but feck me, this was load of crap today, worst subs everI was thinking about how it would go later in the tourney if Sule was at RB against Mbappe or Neymar. We won't even have to get they're because they're done Saturday if he's there again.
I got Cameroon and Switzerland in the office sweepstakes, so I'll allow it
He plays for Borussia Dortmund. That was standard issue defending from them. That defending from Schlotterbeck for that second goal is a droppable offence in itself lol
I thought Flick gonna change that, his Bayern of few years ago was all power and pace, insane pressing and rhythm.Living here in Berlin, it's been clear to me that Germany has been in a complacent decline since 2014. They'll be out of their misery when Spain spank them 1-0 on Sunday.
Possession footie w/ no one to put it in the back of the net and they aren't good defending the counter. They aren't good.Germany these days are kind of slowly morphing into 00's England it seems, whilst England ironically have been Germany-like in tournaments by getting to latter stages even when not playing well
