He doesn't interfere with play

I think the VAR had Lovren was offside but they were asking Taylor to have a look at whethere he interfered with the play as he didn't actually touch the ball

The rule needs to change. It's not a problem with VAR

VAR is simply using our technology to enforce a rule as written. The rule was written at a time when offside was determined by the naked eye.

Now that we have this technology, the rule needs to be updated to say that there is a gray area using VAR where you need to be offside by X amount, or something, i have no idea what it is, but clearly disallowing this goal was never in the spirit of the offside rule as written

Of course when you make it x amount you'll still have people who are barely offside and get called off which will still annoy everyone. You can't legislate out close calls without a complete overhaul of the rule.
