Add Sterling and Young to that and you can see why they'll struggle to get far in the knock-out stages
We know we wont go far in the k/o stages, but England do not have any depth in quality. In one way im glad we didnt win by 3 or 4 - as imo we deserved to - as the written media would be in overdrive. Good 25 plus minutes, a little stagnated in the 2nd half, but kept going and got the 3 points.

Playing Rose and Rashford might make a difference.

After watching Panama against Belgium, I would like to see Vardy up top with Kane.

Panama sits very deep and he won't have much space to run, but it might be good to get him some minutes against them. Use Vardy against Belgium, they leave so much space open on their flanks.

I can't understand the criticism of Sterling. He always seems to make things happen with England and looks like a threat. I'd have Rashford playing, but instead of Alli.

Was listening to Cesc Fabregas and he reckons Rashford is a very good impact player and should be used from the bench. Good shout tbf.

That hissy fit at the media today by Turnip Southgate wont help his team.

I'm amazed he's picked up on that.

If anyone checked out the England managers doc on the BBC, you'll find this is standard and unsurprising.

British press been sticking the boot in since the 60s.
