Remember when Kane scored that cross against us last season? He seems to get an awful lot of luck this fella. I still don't believe he's a top, top player. Put him in Madrid's team and he'd stand out like a sore thumb with their style of football.
Bad example tbh.

He'd stick out at Barca, but in Real he'd smash - they play quick football with loads of crosses, so he'd have to do the same thing he's doing in England now - play alone up front, much like Benzema. Except unlike Benzema - Kane can score goals.

6 - 0 and some people are still negative!

Granted you can only beat what’s in front of you, but seriously, Panama are not even league 2 standard here. Their defending on set pieces was comical and frankly absurd. They can’t even string a few passes together. They’re quite simply an appalling side who England should be comfortably hammering. We have title winning, champions league standard players. Who have they got? The commentators said their most famous player was some yard dog for the Seattle sounders. Tells you everything about the gulf in class and quality.

Given what’s happened in the past against sides like Trinidad and Tobago and Algeria etc, you have to give credit to Southgate and this England side. But at the same time those past struggles and failures should not be the benchmark. Nothing wrong with being pleased England will progress whilst simultaneously not going overboard with praise (which is exactly what will happen). Tougher tests await.

Tomorrow's papers: "Can England go all the way after destroying the mighty Panama?", and you know it.

You have to give credit to Southgate's side, but at the same time - the exact same flop nearly happened last game as well, and England have had a massively favourable start to this tournament.

When do we hear the "dare to dream" shouts? Should be beating sides like this with double figures, yet we've had two penalties and one of the luckiest goals in the world. I'm not impressed by this scoreline.

Great goal by Panama, superb. Pickford no chance, awful defending. Put a massive smile on my face seeing the joy amongst the Panama fans and staff. Beautiful scenes.
