Tomorrow's papers: "Can England go all the way after destroying the mighty Panama?", and you know it.

You have to give credit to Southgate's side, but at the same time - the exact same flop nearly happened last game as well, and England have had a massively favourable start to this tournament.

Definitely. The big thing for me is the order of the fixtures. Belgium and England have had it nice and easy really and been able to wrap up their qualification before actually being tested. Imagine if England had drawn a fixture similar to the Portugal-Spain opening game, and only come away with a point or worse 0 points. The narrative of their tournament would be entirely different and the pressure would be completely different as well. The fact they’ll be getting someone from group H also exemplifies the easy draw they’ve been given at this tournament.

I'm just enjoying it mate.

If BFS was still manager we wouldn't have seen 6 goals today.

Tbh the teams in H are no pushovers either, so the real test begins after the Belgium game for them. IMO England can't win against Belgium if they play the same way they have in these two games (and the quals before them), and if they get Senegal next round they might find it very difficult too. What strikes me as fortunate for them is the fact that there have been no weak teams in this World Cup... except Panama and, to a lesser extent, Tunisia.
