amazes me how adamant he is of yaya leaving but at the same time is saying he isn't leaving this year and will turn into some key player for the team before he goes.

I think his agent forgets he is beyond his peak and kinda needs to be playing first team now to maintain his career.

Ibrahimovic's autobiography is fascinating when it comes to Guardiola, well worth a read for a non-sky opinion on him. Players who are not in the first 11 are basically invisible to him, wont even talk to them and quickly gets rid of any players that have a contrary opinion to him. There is a classic anecdote about all the players at Barcelona only driving audis as they were the club cars. He creates a kind of club think and the players become almost cult members.

he did same when he arrived at Bayern...Rummenigge didn't much like him.

can't argue with his league results, tho' coming off what Heynckes did it wasn't much of a challenge anyway. Man City's Guardiola's biggest challenge as there's 4 or 5 teams gonna challenge him (including...possibly...us).

I am one of those that is, at the moment, holding their hands up and saying they are wrong.

I still stick by the fact that the style of football he played at Barca & Bayern would not be sustainable in this league, too many teams able to sit back and let them pass it around despite the quality on the pitch but so far looks like he is mixing it up a bit so good on him.
