You need to activate gifs mate.

@orly can talk you through it.
So that explains the 'activate' thread.

Lads, it just wastes our time.

Back to football anyway......

The next few fixtures after today will be telling, City generally start well but the cold weather tends to see them wane a little, they have had a nice start and wre brilliant Vs Utd, have to say i didnt expect him to as well as he has done but loads to go.

He's played against all 3 teams in the relegation zone plus Bournemouth and Swansea they have definitely had the easiest fixtures in the Premier League so far. Yes they beat United 2-1 but I really think United were awful that day with Rooney and co.

It could turn out they are as good as they seem and go on to stomp the league but they still have plenty to prove when they come up against much tougher sides. They have even struggled at times against some of those relegation zone sides.

They haven't played a good team yet,if anything their fixtures in the league and cup games have been pretty easy going so far.

Still what has impressed me most though is how Pep has drilled this team so quickly into a pressing energetic team in such a short time, under Pelligrini they hardly pressed and were more a possession team, now they press and counter so quick with quick transitional football, the goals last week against Bournemouth are great examples.

They should win the league though, but i don't think it will be by a big margin as some think.

I think they will probably dominate the better teams just as much as the weaker teams but up to now that hasn't been tested.

The only team I can see challenging them in a one off game is Liverpool. I think their pace and dynamic forward line along with their pressing will give a Guardiola team nightmares. It's a bit too early to say Liverpool are contenders but in a one off game they would give them a game.

It's obviously far too early to say and they've played nobody who would give them a game yet but they look excellent. Pep obviously gets his teams playing good football but I'm not buying into him being the 'be-all-end-all' of football management when every team he walks into have world class players and almost unlimited funds.
