You tell him! Now Arteta has gone there is an opening...His biggest flaw is thinking that you don't need to change your approach for certain games. Lost count of how many times he's lost games with City before they've really started.
They shouldn’t have been so reliant on Laporte. Even with him fit they only had Otamendi and Stones in addition, neither of whom are at the level that Laporte is. They didn’t replace Kompany and I think it was arrogant of Guardiola to think those 3 would be sufficient for a team competing in 4 competitions.Massive mistake by Guardiola not replacing Kompany. Complacent and arrogant. In fact they needed two CBs in the summer because Otamendi is terrible. How Pep can't see how bad he is mystifying.
As they've had to play Fernandinho at the back, they've also missed his defensive cover in midfield, leaving the back four more exposed. His midfield replacement, Rodri, has been very underwhelming for me.
On top of all the above, Laporte's injury was effectively the kiss of death to their title chances.

Obviously you weren't around in 1971Joke of a manager.
This is one of the most pathetic title defences I’ve ever witnessed.

Bloody youngsters!Nor in ’39!
Considering Pellegrini won a league title with them and now seeing him at West Ham, it isn't that impressive winning a league title with City tbh. I agree though, fella needs money and a lot of it for his system to work. I'm sure he's spent over 200m on full backs or something. If he doesn't win the CL this year, his time at City has been underwhelming to say the least.Say what you want about him, but Klopp has shown himself to be the far superior manager.
Pep needs a billion quid or ready made world class players. He also doesn't have a plan B In games, sticks to the same tactics and play no matter what.he is very Silva/Martinez like that.
Where's Klopp plays a variety of different styles and tactics, from target men to quick and nimble etc depending on the opposition.
All of the team's he has managed have been ready made for him, even this man City side, most of there important players were there well before him. Same with Bayern and barcelona.
Obvously still a great manager, but what has made him great is his choice of clubs. He will pick the next obvious club (Juventus or PSG) and win a crap load again, simply because they are already the dominant clubs, with lots of money to spend.
Much prefer/respect managers like Carlo and Klopp that actually want to build a team and club.
He will leave man City in a worse state that when he came, Silva is aging, Aguero is aging, company has left, there defence is worse than ever even after spending 300+ million etc
All in all, after spending 800+ you can't really say he has done that much better than the managers before him considering the outlay.
One of the biggest myths in world football
Spent 700m + in three seasons and the team is a shambles
Luckiest manager alive picking up that Barca side containing Messi/Inesta/Xavi/Puyol/Pique to name a few
Flopped at Munich and City in Europe getting is arse handed to him by Madrid/Liverpool/Spurs/Barca and Athletico Madrid
