Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

Massive mistake by Guardiola not replacing Kompany. Complacent and arrogant. In fact they needed two CBs in the summer because Otamendi is terrible. How Pep can't see how bad he is mystifying.

As they've had to play Fernandinho at the back, they've also missed his defensive cover in midfield, leaving the back four more exposed. His midfield replacement, Rodri, has been very underwhelming for me.

On top of all the above, Laporte's injury was effectively the kiss of death to their title chances.
They shouldn’t have been so reliant on Laporte. Even with him fit they only had Otamendi and Stones in addition, neither of whom are at the level that Laporte is. They didn’t replace Kompany and I think it was arrogant of Guardiola to think those 3 would be sufficient for a team competing in 4 competitions.

Think he wears women's clothes after training tbh which probably explains why he can't rid City of their choker mentality.

Remember the scruffy get flapping over Liverpool's front 3 when prepping for a game against us he's a pants soiler under pressure.

Deffo gone in the summer

Think they tried to get Maguire and then United upped the bidding to stupid levels and they pulled out. Guardiola sounds a bit peeved in interviews about how the club can't afford the players. Which would have a little more credibility if they didn't have a squad that cost a bajillion quid already.

What I don't get is why he won't at least try Otamendi and Stones and put Fernandinho in ahead to cover them. They've both played well in the positin in the past and they're actual CB's rather than midfielders trying to do a job. But it's possible he knows more about football than I do.

An arrogant manager at an arrogant team. Hates it when teams aren’t scared of City and actually have a go at them and when they do they quite often win. They are nowhere near as good as the past two seasons has made them look and now the fear factor has gone they’re getting punished. Also imagine paying a world record fee (at the time) for that Mendy bloke.

One of the biggest myths in world football

Spent 700m + in three seasons and the team is a shambles

Luckiest manager alive picking up that Barca side containing Messi/Inesta/Xavi/Puyol/Pique to name a few

Flopped at Munich and City in Europe getting is arse handed to him by Madrid/Liverpool/Spurs/Barca and Athletico Madrid

Say what you want about him, but Klopp has shown himself to be the far superior manager.

Pep needs a billion quid or ready made world class players. He also doesn't have a plan B In games, sticks to the same tactics and play no matter what.he is very Silva/Martinez like that.

Where's Klopp plays a variety of different styles and tactics, from target men to quick and nimble etc depending on the opposition.

All of the team's he has managed have been ready made for him, even this man City side, most of there important players were there well before him. Same with Bayern and barcelona.

Obvously still a great manager, but what has made him great is his choice of clubs. He will pick the next obvious club (Juventus or PSG) and win a crap load again, simply because they are already the dominant clubs, with lots of money to spend.

Much prefer/respect managers like Carlo and Klopp that actually want to build a team and club.

He will leave man City in a worse state that when he came, Silva is aging, Aguero is aging, company has left, there defence is worse than ever even after spending 300+ million etc

All in all, after spending 800+ you can't really say he has done that much better than the managers before him considering the outlay.

Considering Pellegrini won a league title with them and now seeing him at West Ham, it isn't that impressive winning a league title with City tbh. I agree though, fella needs money and a lot of it for his system to work. I'm sure he's spent over 200m on full backs or something. If he doesn't win the CL this year, his time at City has been underwhelming to say the least.

So Pep flopped at Bayern but Ancelotti is great. Got it.

The team is burned out. They need a rebuild which Pep won't be apart of. They went through their cycle. He won 2 out of 3 years, maybe 4. I'm not looking it up.

But yea, total fraud that Pep is. What a joke.
